The Big Sleep with Humphrey Bogart, one of the best ever noir movies

Just saw The Big Sleep again and I enjoy every viewing.

Bogart does a good job pretending to be someone else in a bookstore talking to a pretentious clerk. The movie is very close to the book, although it had to be cleaned up somewhat. The book is about a pornographer to rents porno picture books from his bookstore. The book is fairly explicit about nudity and homosexuality and now comes annotated, explaining all the slang words from the early last century.

Finally, the car Bogart drives is so cool: it's a 1938 Dodge coupe. The dialogue is great and the humor also wonderful. Of course there are great scenes between Bogart and Bacall.

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez demonstrated Buddhist connectiveness

Here Ocasio Cortez interacts with a penguin. Another living being. Those of us who can experience a connection with other living beings are spiritually fulfilled. How many people do you know who would be delighted to experience a connection with another living being, like a penguin? Most members of Congress would rather eat penguins.
