HS student replicates black/white doll experiments

This high school student replicated the black/white doll experiments referred in the Brown V Board (1954) Supreme Court case that led to desegregation of schools. She also interviewed her friends about how they felt about their skin color. This is really shocking: her friends talk about how they know of girls who "bleach" their skin, how they want a light skinned husband for the "gene" pool, how their hair should be long and soft and not kinky - what are we teaching our children? This is profoundly sad.
