Yes it's Yeezy on Mt. Rushmore.  He has decided even before the election results that he will be on Mt. Rushmore.  I am surprised that his Presidential quest has not generated more publicity.  It would  have been great having him in the Democratic primary, even better in the Republican primary.  

Actually I think Mt Rushmore should be detonated.  It literally belonged to native Americans when it was sculpted. The Black Hills should be returned to what it once was when the treaty was passed by Congress.

"Come and See," anti war film from CCCP (Soviet Union) 1985

This is supposedly the scariest movie ever made, and it is based on fact, not fiction.

The film details a young boy's experience in Belarus during "Operation Barbarossa," the German invasion of Russia.

The Criterion Channel has it.  Criterion is $9.99 monthly.  They have great films, including Ingmar Bergman films.

Testament of Youth

How could I have missed this movie?!!!  Just saw it on Starz and it appeared to be the usual WWI movie, boy goes off to war, sweetheart makes do at home. But then.....it derailed.  It became very intense.  The acting is incredible. Sadness permeates the film.  It is really a testament to peace.

I just ordered the book, first published in 1933.  Ironic, Since another war was just developing in Europe.  Maybe that is why Vera Brittain wrote it.  I just ordered a recent copy from Amazon, about $15 paperback.  First Edition will run you $800 + .  Might be worth it.

The cinematography was perfect. Beautiful scenes. I ordered the book, a must read.  I also noticed that Vera Brittain authored another book, about Britain from 1939-1941.  Here are some scenes.

I really enjoyed working at Mercy Behavioral Health, great team members, great patients.  If only they had an opening for a nurse practitioner I would apply.  I recommend this team for those interested in working with urban outpatients, some of who have serious psychiatric chronic conditions.  It was rewarding, I felt like I was working with friends, and helping the underserved.  Very spiritual.

I love this skit.  Not very helpful, but there is a message there. If someone has a fear of being buried in a box, I would explore their childhood - were they locked in a closet?  Locked in a outbuilding?  But maybe they should just STOP IT!

FERNWOOD TONIGHT kept me laughing in the 70's

Martin Mull used to perform with his "furniture" as though he was performing at home and the audience was his guests.  This transformed into Fernwood Tonight, a take off on late night talk shows, this one on public access in Fernwood, Ohio.  I used to howl and cry laughing his episodes were so funny.
Here is one of the best, the police stopped someone for speeding, turns out he is Jewish, and since there are no Jews in Fernwood, the poor guy ends up on Fernwood Tonight.

So I have experienced profound depression and anxiety in my life.  I did not search to find an impressionable young female intern who could provide me with fellatio, allow me to ejaculate on her dress, and pleasure her with my cigars.  But this is how Bill manages his anxiety.  He must be full of anxiety since other women have accused him of rape, of fathering a child, of numerous sexual affairs. He had sex with other women in the Oval Office, his intern wasn't the only one. Why did he tell Hillary how anxious he was, and suggest his unique plan of treatment? These two live in a bubble, they reinforce their demented reality that they have created, they have no way of grasping how ridiculous this book must be.  I am not reading it.  It is a waster of time.

Then there is President Trump ridiculing her.

She is on the Autism spectrum (what I call "Aspergery.") She is often mocked for that.  You know what you are saying is important when vested interests perk up to ridicule you, even if you are a teenager and legally a minor.  Her message is so compelling that even the President of the USA feels necessary to attack her. "Even the President of United States sometimes has to stand naked," Bob Dylan.  I admire her so much, her parents must be very proud.

here is specialty british care garage.  It is only a matter of time before I buy one of these cars.  My favorite is the MGB-GT with lower suspension and 1960's era chrome bumpers.

But the TR6 is awesome too, and the removable hardtop looks great.
